We stock a large quantity of lime plaster course stuff made with mature lime putty and well graded sharp sand. The lime : sand ratio will always be a minimum of (1 : 3) but may be as high as (2 : 5) depending on the sand and aggregates. The course stuff has been further matured (min 90 days) to ensure the best possible contact between the lime and sand.
Our setting stuff is made with fine sieved lime putty and fine sharp silver sand in a ratio of 2:3 and has been mixed and matured (min 120 days)

Exact or close matching of plaster for historic buildings can be carried out to order, however some considerable lead in times may be required.
100 square M2 of first or second coat at 10mm thick will require 2 tonne of material. 100 M2 square metres of setting stuff at a maximum thickness of 3mm will require 15 tubs. When working on laths, some material will be pressed through the laths to form rivets and this must be taken into account when ordering materials

1Alkali resistant glass fibre is pre-mixed into our dry bagged lime plasters.
Ready Mixed Dry Bagged Lime Plaster offers a means to achieve a reduction in the overall contract program for lime plastering. The benefit of an earlier set allows work to proceed at a faster pace, bringing forward completion dates.
Mixing is in a standard free fall drum, or paddle mixer, eliminating the need for Roller Pan Mills.
Coverage: Render / Float 17.5 KG per M2 at 10mm thick / 100 M2 at 10mm thick requires 1750 KG
Coverage: Finishing Stuff 5.25 KG per M2 at 3mm thick / 100M2 at 3mm thick requires 525 KG
