Tradeco is a modified hydraulic lime binder, manufactured by Saint Astier in France. It is based on NHL 3.5 with the addition of a small proportion of white low sulfate cement and additives to improve workability. Tradeco is formulated for use with low strength backgrounds. As a modified hydraulic lime, Tradeco will develop its compressive strength of the mansonry unit. This makes it an ideal choice for building with low strength masonry units and blocks. Tradeco also offers good elasticity and water retention, setting time, low capillarity and excellent breathability. TRADECO DATA SHEET -
Hourdex is a modified hydraulic lime binder, manufactured by Saint Astier in France. Hourdex is based on NHL 5 with the addition of a small proportion of a grey low sulfate cement and additives to improve workability. Hourdex is classed as a "multiuse binder" meaning that when specified correctly, Hourdex can be used for a wide number of applications, such as: Building, pointing, renders, skews, chimney haunching and floor tiling. As a modified hydraulic lime, Hourdex develops its compressive strength and resistance to freeze thaw more quickly than a pure NHL. Tradiblanc is a modified hydraulic lime binder, manufactured by Saint Astier in France. It is also based on NHL 5 with the addition of a small proportion of a white low sulfate cement and additives to improve workability. Tradiblanc is similar to Hourdex, however the colour of the binder is " off white " so this allows for better sand colour reproduction for site mixed mortars. Tradiblanc can also be used to make mortars for a wide range of applications including : Building, re-pointing, renders and roofline work. Tradiblanc develops its compressive strength and resistance to freeze thaw more quickly than a pure NHL and mortars produced using Tradiblanc offer excellent workability and breathability. Okadur HL 5 lime is a modified hydraulic lime binder manufactured by Otterbein in Germany. It is based on Otterbein NHL 5, but with the addition of a small proportion of cement and additives. The result is a binder that can be used effectively for a wide range of site mixed mortar applications, principally for building and pointing.
